Earth day is here!

 

This year we can make the E day exceptionally great by making environmental awareness more attractive. Because let's face it, sometimes it can feel a bit, well, boring. But it doesn't have to be! There are so many cool and creative ways to get people excited about protecting the planet, from eco-art installations and upcycling workshops to sustainable fashion shows and green festivals. Let's harness our creativity and make saving the world a fun and funky mission! 

 

Big shoutout to all our environmental camp coordinators for facilitating workshops and giving us a safe space to share our thoughts and ideas. It's so important to have these conversations and learn from each other.

 

Let's keep this discussion rolling and share our knowledge and experiences. Together, we can make a difference! 

 

Date of April 22 was selected because it fell between colleges' spring break and final exams, and also from the observance of Arbor Day, which began in Nebraska in 1872, a day when people are encouraged to plant trees.
