The first online camp of the icelandic summer  took place last week, hosting participants and volunteers from Vietnam, Russia, Egypt, Colombia, Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia, Portugal, Poland  and Hungary.
After getting to know each other better through icebreakers, we learnt about deforestation, sustainable fashion, ecological footprint and so much more! We also went trash-hunting  virtually-together, watched documentaries  about environmental issues, and cheered up after by cooking banana peels , to reduce our waste! 
We look forward to meeting these beautiful people  again - maybe we'll see each other in Iceland or otherwise we'll go and knock on their door one day! Until that, we said goodbye with a warm feeling in our heart!
