SEEDS' volunteers arrived yesterday to Akranes for one more of our voluntary service workcamps!! We have there a group of 8 volunteers coming from Czech Rep., France, Germany, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain and the UK!!

The group will work the first days on the preparations of the Írskir dagar (Irish Days) festivities in Akranes and then after the first weekend they will work together with the Environmental and public areas section of the city in different projects improving the camp-site, cleaning up the coastline, maintaining some hiking trails in the area, etc.

We are very glad to be in Akranes for the very first time with one of SEEDS' groups, grateful with the great welcome and hospitality we have been received and hope to work together with the community in the future again!
