This was a camp in the South of Iceland, close to Vik. We were based on a local farm and the tasks in the camp among others, we helped with feeding animals, cleaning the farm and working in the fields – removing stones from a new field to prepare it for growing grass and preparing some greenhouses in the fields.

Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. They taught us a lot about animals and life at the farm in Iceland. They also cooked incredible Icelandic dishes for the international dinner!

We were a little group of participants coming from different countries (Italy, Germany, China and France) and living with each other was the opportunity to discover other cultures and have a lot fun in a nice environment.

We also had time to discover the awesome surroundings that is the South of Iceland by discovering touristic places, hiking and enjoying a swim in a natural hot pool!

The camp was a success and all participants were happy of their Icelandic experience :D
