Inspired by Iceland
SEEDS 22. Skriðuklaustur Making history (2:4)
01.06.2011

It seems incredible that two weeks have already passed since our group of six volunteers from Italy, Chile, Poland, France and Spain left Reykjavík eastbound discovering all the wonders that the south coast road of Iceland has to offer.

We have been working in one of the most famous museums in the area; inside when it was cold, and gardening and helping in the nearby farms when it was good weather. Of course, we were not only working. The volunteers had the opportunity to visit Hengifoss, one of Iceland's highest waterfalls, go horseback riding, go fishing in Reyðarfjörður and we got close to the volcano Snæfell, among other things.

Today we will say goodbye, it will be sad because the group has been very close and even everyday tasks such as cooking and cleaning have always been done together, while a good mood and the best music have always been with us. At least we have the consolation of coming back on the north coast road, thus completing the circle around the island and enjoying its hidden treasures.
