Documentary Screening "The Making of Hornstrandir Film Festival"
Let’s Sum Up Our Last Screening!
As part of our ongoing project to raise awareness about environmental issues, we were happy to host a screening of the documentary "The Making of Hornstrandir Film Festival"—the most remote film festival in the world. The documentary took us on a journey to the breathtaking Hornstrandir Nature Reserve in the Westfjords, where we saw the challenges and beauty of hosting a festival in such a unique location, and met the inspiring people behind it.
After the screening, we had a discussion with our guests from the festival. They shared their experiences not only from the festival but also from their diverse backgrounds. Moreover we explored important topics such as the balance between nature exploration and conservation, the impact of mass tourism on Iceland, and the essential role of community.
Thank you all for coming! It was wonderful to have you with us for this inspiring event.
