Documentary screening “Out of Plastic”
Plastic pollution is a global crisis, from the cold waters of Iceland to the warm Mediterranean Sea. How do our habits contribute to this? What's the true extent of plastic in our oceans? These critical questions were explored in our latest screening at the Nordic House.
About 30 attendees joined us for “Out of Plastic” by director Line Hadsbjerg, from the Plastic Oceans film library. The film was followed by an engaging panel discussion with Ali Leeper, Katarzyna Jagodzinska and Emily Jaimes Richey-Stavra from SOA Iceland, focusing on plastic pollution, environmental awareness, and actionable solutions.
Huge thanks to Plastic Oceans and the Nordic House for hosting us and helping spread essential knowledge about the climate crisis.
