International Mother Language Day!

International Mother Language Day!
The day was approved at the 1999 UNESCO General Conference and according to UNESCO "'Multilingualism contributes to the development of inclusive societies that allow multiple cultures, worldviews and knowledge systems to coexist and cross-fertilize."
This is something we can attest. That's why we want to take this opportunity to celebrate our past and current multicultural team at SEEDS.
It's a fact that we come from different countries, speak different languages, and still, we are all here working on a common goal. A goal to empower, inform and expand the horizons of people of all ages, cultures, backgrounds, and take a part in the world's future development.
Some people might get exposed to languages they never heard before and gain a new perspective. Even though we use English to communicate, we each share our mother languages through funny phrases and idioms, music and movies. At least, we will know a few words from each other's countries - we won't say which ones we learned first.
