During this Environmental Awareness camp in November, we hosted participants from Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain & Romania.
The camp visited IFAW, the geothermal power plant at Hellisheidi and also worked for a couple of hours helping out in the Graveyard of Reykjavik where. . .

I spent six months as an EVS volunteer in Iceland. My main job was taking care of the workcamps organised by my host organisation - SEEDS Iceland - all over the island: from Reykjavik to the Iceland villages.

Yesterday was a great day for SEEDS and the coastline of eastern part of Westfjords. Landsbankinn awarded SEEDS a grant to clean the coastline of the eastern part of the Westfjords in cooperation with the land owners. SEEDS and the municipality have agreed on the project and now it can take place. . .
