This project has originally started by Steinar Waage who was a shoe salesman in Reykjavík and a supporter of the mission. The shoes would be inspected and made to run again in many parts of the world, especially in Africa.
We were moving shoes from the smaller containers into a large one.. . .

Today we focused on 10 full bags of trash that came from one beach only! We opened it, categorized the litter, and gathered information available. There were several hundred of kilograms of fishing nets and ropes.
Also, we took out shot shells that bird hunters use around the beaches.. . .
