Volunteers from the SEEDS photo marathon project are inviting you to the opening of their exhibition "Mythos & Logos"!

An old saying states that "a picture is worth a thousand words". During the course of the photo marathon SEEDS volunteers took hundreds of pictures capturing portraits of various people from all around Reykjavík.

Each and every picture can tell many different stories however in this case the pictures taken by SEEDS volunteers altogether aim at reflecting the creation of time as portrayed in Norse mythology.

The people in the pictures can be seen showing hand gestures from the International Sign Language and the pictures are arranged in a particular order so that anyone who is familiar with the International Sign Language will be able to read a poem about the creation of time from the Edda.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday, 27^th of July at 7 o'clock in the evening in the Graffiti park, downtown Reykjavík, near Laugavegur 21. See the attached map!
