In the beautiful organic farm we picked beetroot, kohlrabi, potatoes, and removed dead trees from the forest.

The group came from France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Portugal, UK and US giving it a coloured culture mix. Living in the "monster house" was a great experience for the group with vegetarian delicious cooking all the time. We had barley breakfast with apples and raisins and several other tasty food cooked by our hosts and ourselves.

We shared the work with WWOOF volunteers that had already experience in farming. Most of us gained our experience in this workcamp. Hitchiking to Egilstaðir was one of the most funny adventures of the group. We managed to take 15 people to the swimming pool and back, but some had to walk some kilometres!

On the weekend we went to Hengifoss, Húsey and walked a bit in Hallormsstadarskogur the biggest forest in Iceland. It was a great time in the farm and all of us learned a lot about growing and picking vegetables, cooking healthy food and being in harmony with the nature.
