In the beginning of may a small group of volunteers from Italy, Korea, France, Netherlands and Slovenia went to a camp near Vik in the South of Iceland.

We stayed in a small family farm for two weeks where we helped out a charming couple.

Our work was mostly preparing and cleaning the field for the new season of carrots. In the rainy days we helped out our wonderful hosts with feeding the animals and cleaning the farm.

On our free days we went to discover Sount of Iceland all the way to Jökulsárlón, visited Westman Islands and also had the pleasure of taking a guided tour on the glacier Sólheimajökull .
